Recommended Best Practices

• The LBS system is safety class 2 laser, that means pointing it in your eyes for more than 10 seconds will cause eye damage. Do not do this. Whether it's with the naked eye, though a binocular or telescope, or a mirror like surface.
• Make sure to remove the device from the weapon before any live fire. Negligent discharges right into your very nice and hard to find borelight is often catastrophic to the device, the weapon, the user, and human dignity.
• Do not store the device with the batteries still installed. The soft carrying case has two nice pouches for AA batteries to the left of the mandrel pouches.

Laser Borelight Assembly Models

Both versions of the Laser Borelight System where designated for different branches of the military. The 300 for the Army, the 050 for the Marine Corps. The only functional difference is the Army version (300) has an additional power mode that allows the user to boresight when NVGs are being used.

 

Switch Position	LBS-300 Operation
OFF	The Borelight will not operate. Prevents inadvertent emission of laser energy.
GOGGLE	The Borelight will operate in a very low power mode. Used for boresighting with a night vision device at night and other low light conditions, when reduced blooming is desired.
LOW (same as on)	The Borelight will operate in a low power mode. Used for boresighting in any lighting condition when night vision devices will not be used.
PULSE	With the Borelight / Mandrel assembly inserted into the muzzle of a weapon, the laser will activate momentarily when the weapon is dry fired. Used for marksmanship training.

ON (same as low)	The Borelight will operate in a low power mode. Used for boresighting in any lighting condition.
PULSE	With the Borelight / Mandrel assembly inserted into the muzzle of a weapon, the laser will activate momentarily when the weapon is dry fired. Used for marksmanship training.

• LBS-001 Model does not come with pouch, mandrels, thread, or manual.

We accept returns no questions asked within the first 30 days as long as the device and it's accessories are received in the same condition it was sent in. If any modification to the device or damage has occurred, we reserve the right to refuse the return entirely. We accept no liability for returned items damaged in transit to our warehouse. Proper care and packaging is the sole responsibility of the customer.
